I had a delightful experience at this charming period townhouse with a cozy feel and a wonderfully comfortable bed, making it a perfect launchpad for weekend wanderings, especially since it’s just a few steps from the lovely Church of St Edmund and its surrounding green pl azas.

Loved staying here! The vibe was great, and the bar area was buzzing. The staff were super helpful with local tips. Had the guinea fowl for dinner—yum! Only bummer was the seabass dish not hitting the mark. Room was comfy and cozy, perfect after a long day. Would totally recommend it!

The suite was absolutely stunning with its high ceilings and a large bay window framing the delightful street views! I loved sipping complimentary Nespresso coffee while soaking in the luxurious roll-top bath after a long day of exploring. The staff made me feel so welcomed, truly adding warmth to my stay with their thoughtful gestures and genuine smiles!

Parking options were quite limited, which is a hassle if you're staying there with a vehicle. The mattress in the room felt excessively soft, offering little back support and making turns in bed a shared experience, not ideal for couples seeking restful sleep. the breakfast service could improve. the wait for food was longer than expected, and the coffee could pack a stronger punch instead of being a weak brew that doesn't kickstart your day.

My stay at The George was delightful! The Cosy Double Room was bright and airy, making it a perfect retreat after exploring the Cotswolds. The shower was fantastic and the breakfast spread included fresh pastries, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure comfort.

The Classic Double Room was super comfy, seriously amazing bed for a good night's sleep! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had plenty of good shower amenities, which I loved. Plus, tons of tea and coffee options were a nice touch. Just wish there was better lighting in the bathroom. had a little trouble with the Wi-Fi at times, but it didn’t ruin anything.

Breakfast could be improved. there was noticeable disorganization in food replenishment, and some items like bacon were undercooked, impacting the overall dining experience. the bar area became overcrowded, making it a challenge to find a comfortable place to enjoy a drink once the seating filled up.

Comfortable room, delicious food, spacious bathroom with a nice walk-in shower, and the off-site parking made our stay very convenient.
